Terms of Service

By accessing or using Lekkerstock ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Lekkerstock is a digital marketplace that connects African content creators ("Contributors") with individuals and businesses ("Buyers") seeking to license authentic African visual content including photographs, videos, illustrations, and 3D assets.

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to: • Provide accurate, complete, and current information • Maintain the security of your password • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account • Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account • Not create accounts for others without permission You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

As a Contributor, you agree that: • You own or have all necessary rights to the content you upload • Your content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or other rights • You have obtained all necessary model releases and property releases for content depicting identifiable individuals or private property • Content uploaded for commercial licensing must have valid model and property releases • Content without releases may only be submitted for editorial licensing • You will not upload content that is illegal, obscene, defamatory, or violates any applicable law • You grant Lekkerstock a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display, distribute, and sub-license your content through the Platform Royalties are paid at the rates specified in your contributor dashboard and are subject to the payout schedule outlined therein.

Upon completing a valid purchase or subscription download, you receive a non-exclusive licence to use the licensed content subject to the following: Standard Licence grants permission for: • Digital use including websites, apps, social media, and presentations • Print use up to 500,000 copies • Commercial advertising and marketing materials • Perpetual use in projects published while the licence is active Extended Licence grants all Standard Licence rights plus: • Unlimited print runs • Resale rights — incorporation into physical products for resale • Broadcast and film rights • Perpetual use in projects published while the licence is active Editorial Licence grants permission for: • News, journalism, documentary, and educational use only • Content may not be used for commercial advertising or promotion All licences are non-transferable. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute licensed content as standalone files.

Subscriptions are billed monthly and automatically renew unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time through your account settings. Content downloaded during an active subscription period remains licensed perpetually in projects published or completed during that period. Once a subscription lapses, content may not be incorporated into new projects without an active subscription or individual licence. Lekkerstock reserves the right to modify subscription pricing with 30 days notice.

You may not use the Platform or licensed content to: • Defame, harass, abuse, or threaten any person • Portray identifiable individuals in a false, misleading, or offensive context • Create content that promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence • Produce pornographic or sexually explicit material • Infringe any intellectual property rights • Circumvent any technical protection measures • Scrape, harvest, or systematically download content without permission • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose

Contributors retain copyright ownership of their content. Lekkerstock does not claim ownership of content uploaded by Contributors. The Lekkerstock name, logo, platform design, and all related technology are the exclusive property of Lekkerstock and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without express written permission.

All payments are processed by Paystack and are subject to their terms and conditions. Prices are displayed in USD and NGN. Due to the digital nature of licensed content, all sales are final and non-refundable once a download has been initiated. If you experience a technical issue with a download, contact support@lekkerstock.com within 7 days of purchase.

Contributors agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Lekkerstock and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from: • Your content infringing third-party rights • Your breach of these Terms • Your violation of any applicable law • Any claim that your content caused harm to a third party Lekkerstock's liability to any Buyer for claims related to licensed content is limited to the amount paid for the specific licence in dispute.

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Lekkerstock does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lekkerstock shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
